In an emotional event, the family of James Tyree, a prominent Chicago business figure, recently settled a wrongful death lawsuit against the University of Chicago medical center. Last year, the newspaper publisher was on dialysis, as he was undergoing treatment for cancer, when a medical mistake claimed his life.
